A day at School

As you may already know, I attend school at the Art Institute of California - San Francisco. My commute with a car would be about an hour with no traffic... and another, say, about 20 min to park and so on... the cost of me driving would also put me into the poor house so I take public transportation... and my bike!

The Bay Area Rapid Transit system (aka BART) is a great way to go. About a mile from my house carrying 20-30 lbs of school stuff is not that bad on a bike at 6am.

After locking up the bike, purchasing a ticket, and taking the auto stares as I call it up to the train my 45 min BART ride begins.

Granted I could probably take the later train since my class does not start till about 8 but you never know what delays you might have (like the Bay Bridge being closed) or if you are running late... but the main think about the early train is that there are not a lot of people on it... and the train driver actually speaks up when you approach the station, all the other ones... not so much.

Finally in class, after fighting off bums with terrible morning breath (probably over the past several years) you get a magnificent view of the Market Street Cinema... a strip club.

class for 4 hours can be a bit boring so people like to spice it up

and after the long crowded elevator rides

you get to hand out with the bums on the campus square ;)
