4-8 weeks

It has been just over a month now and still have not received my check. It has been almost two months to where I have received any moneys at all. I guess the VA is now backed up - up to 8 weeks. It is a bit frustrating since this is the money a lot of us are going to rely on. Yeah I should have some savings but when you have a dead end job before hand there is only so much you can save when you have 4 kids. It looks like I might be forced to find away to get a loan or a job. The only negative about a job is that I will not be paid for at least another 2 weeks.... and that's if you can find a job in this economy. My advice is to hold on to a job or a part time gig if you have no other income until you start getting paid.
